Description Nuclear Medicine Technologist at Providence St Vincent Medical Center in Portland, OR. Performs Nuclear Medicine examinations for diagnostic and therapeutic (site specific) purposes under the direction of a physician. Prepares patient, prepares and administers prescribed dose of radioactive pharmaceuticals and non-radioactive pharmaceuticals, performs calculations and manipulates data according to established parameters. Ensures proper preparation and / or ordering of radioactive material, calibrates equipment, assures appropriate quality control, monitors patients and performs other duties as assigned. Upon hire : Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Or Upon hire : Oregon Nuclear Medicine Technologist Temporary Upon hire : National Provider BLS - American Heart Association Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Or Within 6 months (180 days) of hire : National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board Preferred Qualification : 2 years of Clinical experience as Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
