Position Title : & Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location : & Sonora, CA, USA
Shift : & Day Shift (40 hours per week)
Contract Duration : & 13 Weeks
Salary Range : & $50 - $60 per hour
Job Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our imaging team in Sonora, CA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nuclear medicine procedures, including PET imaging, and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a supportive environment while contributing to patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform nuclear medicine scans and procedures, including PET imaging, according to established protocols.
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients while ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring quality control and compliance with safety regulations.
- Collaborate with physicians to interpret imaging results and assist in developing appropriate treatment plans.
- Educate patients about procedures, potential side effects, and post-procedural care.
- Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and patient information in compliance with regulatory standards.
- Participate in quality assurance activities and contribute to departmental improvement initiatives.
