Our client is an international new-nuclear technology developer with a specialization in nuclear power development. They have multiple sites underway for construction and are looking for an established talent in the energy/utilities/construction world to join their team. You would work with the broader team on schedule development & management, critical path risk/mitigation strategies, and maintenance of visibility over all project deliverables. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with contractors, suppliers, and project teams to build and update comprehensive schedules in Primavera P6
- Proactively collect activity updates and timeline information from cross-functional stakeholders
- Provide scheduling support and analysis to project leadership and site management teams
- Consolidate engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases into an integrated master timeline synchronized with budget and progress tracking
- Analyze critical path activities, available float, and schedule vulnerabilities; propose risk mitigation approaches
- Support cost estimation processes and allocate resources to activities based on team inputs
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in project scheduling and controls for large-scale capital projects
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and scheduling software applications
- Strong understanding of engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project lifecycles
- Demonstrated ability to analyze critical path methodology, schedule compression techniques, and risk mitigation strategies
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Experience integrating schedule data with cost control systems and progress reporting frameworks
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field preferred
