Job Title : Elevator Consultant

Job Summary : EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for an Elevator Consultant in Arlington, VA. The Elevator Consultant will provide a unique ability to provide complete design and project management package. The Elevator Consultant, in conjunction with Consultants of other disciplines, which make-up EMCOR Government Services can provide complete design specifications for all work required for the project, not just the vertical transportation portion. This is a hybrid role and requires travel to sites in the MDV area and Mid Atlantic area on a regular basis and % travel to other US locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :   The Elevator Consultant offer the following consulting / inspecting services :

Maintenance and Equipment Evaluation :

• Perform contract management on accounts.
• Perform surveys and provide a report to the elevator maintenance contractor of specific items or conditions that need attention to improve the overall elevator performance and reliability.
• Address all performance issues with elevator contractors.
• Audit all extra billing invoices and address any issues with the elevator contractors.
• Evaluate all proposals submitted to the client by the elevator contractor and advise client.
• Conduct annual evaluations of the elevator contractor’s performance to the terms of the contract.
