Promotions Coordinator

Curtis Media Group has an immediate opening for a full-time Promotions Coordinator. This person will work with several of the radio stations in the Curtis Media Raleigh cluster. Qualified candidates will ideally have 2+ years of public relations, marketing, or radio experience. Bachelor's degree in communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or related field is preferred.

The Promotions Coordinator will report to the General Managers, Promotions Directors and Program Directors of the radio stations and work closely with the various sales and programming staff members.

• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to multi-task and juggle multiple responsibilities.
• Premium social media skills.
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
• Focus on customer service, both inside and outside the radio station; strong people skills are required to interact with clients, sales staff, programming staff, vendors and listeners.
• Leadership and management skills to hire, manage and direct part-time staffers.
• Prior radio and promotions experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of or prior experience in the Raleigh-Durham radio market is a plus.
