Job Summary :
Serves as mid-level, experienced professional nursing and patient care services employee development role that leverages the application of principles of adult learning in broad-based program development, implementation, and evaluation. Leverages expertise in identifying, prioritizing, and evaluating, the educational and professional development needs of a clinical service line or entire medical center. Develops and delivers clinical educational programs, including specialty training, new graduate / hire training, continuing education for staff, and training for upgrades and changes to KPHC. Coordinates nursing competence and professional development programs for multiple or complex Patient Care Services clinical area(s). Conducts and analysis ongoing assessments of proficiencies for PCS staff and management and provides feedback and formal action plans management under the supervision and guidance of the Nursing Professional Development Director and Leadership team.
