Your Role in This Community
  • Performing comprehensive evaluations, requesting necessary tests, and developing tailored care strategies
  • Diagnosing and managing acute, episodic, or chronic ailments, collaborating with physicians or working independently, per your qualifications
  • Providing education to patients and families surrounding wellness, prevention, and chronic condition management
  • Prescribing appropriate medications and therapies in accordance with your credentials
  • Engaging in ongoing patient follow-up and chronic disease management
  • Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to promote integrated, patient-centric care
  • Ensuring thorough and accurate documentation within electronic health records (EHR)
Qualifications You Need
  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
  • Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner education program
Mandatory Certifications
  • Valid Nurse Practitioner licensure in the state of Florida
  • National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or related specialty
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or capable of obtaining within 90 days)
