We are looking for a highly skilled Remote Nurse or Monitoring Specialist who will monitor patients' vitals and determine whether they are in or out of range.
Formal education as a Registered Nurse or Health care aide or equivalent experience (RN, LVN, LPN).
Strong verbal and communication skills in English.
In-depth understanding of disease processes related to vital sign monitoring (hypertension, heart failure, CKD, asthma / COPD and obesity).
Time management and prioritization skills.
Assessment and critical thinking skills.
Clinical experience in inpatient settings is preferred.
Tasks :
Focuses in conducting remote physiologic monitoring treatment management services, clinical staff / physician / other qualified health care professional time in a calendar month requiring interactive communication with the patient / caregiver during the month (99457)
Call patients for verbal assessment and health teaching.
Manages computer / on-line guidelines for the purpose of responding to customer queries.
Coordinating patient care and collaborating with other members of the healthcare team through electronic medical records
Monitor vitals and determine whether they are in or out of range.
Assess vitals and prioritize based on patient needs.
Maintaining patient confidentiality and respect for patient rights in an online environment
Continuously monitoring and evaluating patient progress and responding to alert cases through remote monitoring tools.
