Job Summary and Responsibilities
Eligible candidates will receive up to a $10,000 sign on bonus and up to $10,000 in Educational Assistance!
This is an excellent role for someone who likes routine and wants to keep their skills sharp. Your day-to-day nursing tasks will depend on the tailored needs of your patients. In addition to clinical skills, you'll educate patients and their families about the disease processes contributing to impairments / disabilities and teach nursing techniques to help them develop the self-care skills necessary to move toward wellness on the illness-wellness continuum.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists and nursing team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients.
- Coordinate care for various speech, physical, occupational or respiratory therapies they have scheduled each day.
- Prepare patients and their families for future self-management and decision-making responsibilities by fostering patients' independence and goal achievement.
- Identify comprehensive care plans based on patient goals and maximum potential.
- Participate in the interdisciplinary team process at team conferences and offer input into team decision making.
