Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Wound Care Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. This role is essential in providing high-quality care to patients with complex wound management needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical terminology, infection control practices, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team. This position requires a commitment to patient-centered care and the ability to manage acute pain effectively.
Join our team as a Wound Care Nurse Practitioner where you will make a significant impact on patient recovery through expert wound management and compassionate care. This position will start part-time and grow into full-time.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with wounds, including history taking and physical examinations.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and best practice guidelines.
- Perform wound care procedures, including dressing changes, debridement, and management of various types of wounds.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patients for therapeutic effects and side effects.
- Stay current with advancements in wound care practices and participate in continuing education opportunities.
