Position Summary :
We are currently hiring three experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioners (NNPs) for full-time, permanent roles in the Plano, TX area. This is a rare opportunity to join a collaborative neonatal care team that provides critical services across a network of seven Medical City locations , including Level III and IV NICUs .
Key Responsibilities :
Deliver advanced clinical care to neonates in a Level III / IV NICU environment.
Manage a caseload of 6 16 patients per provider , varying by facility acuity and census.
Provide care during in-house 12-hour day shifts (7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM) .
No on-call responsibilities; providers work a minimum of 6 7 shifts / month , including weekend coverage .
Collaborate with a robust surgical subspecialty backup team to ensure comprehensive neonatal care.
Chart using PremiEHR and Patient Keeper EMR systems.
Provide cross-coverage support across all 7 Medical City facilities in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Qualifications :
Board Certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Required
Texas State RN / NP License Required (Applicants eligible for TX licensure will be considered)
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) Certification Required
PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) Preferred
BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
Experience in Level III / IV NICU settings Strongly Preferred
Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
Strong clinical judgment and ability to manage high-acuity, complex neonatal cases .
Work Schedule & Environment :
Shift Hours : 7 : 00 AM 7 : 00 PM (Day Shifts Only)
Minimum Commitment : 6 7 shifts / month
Setting : No call responsibilities; must be flexible to work weekends
Environment : Supportive team culture in a highly specialized NICU network across multiple hospital sites.
