Job descriptionConduct safety inspections of worksites and facilities, ensuring compliance with OSHA 1926 and 1910 regulations. Identify workplace hazards and provide detailed recommendations for compliance and mitigation. Develop and implement safety programs and site-specific safety manuals. Conduct safety training sessions for client employees, including topics such as forklift safety, aerial lift safety, and hazard communication. Interact with general contractors and governmental agencies to discuss and address safety protocols. Provide support in creating and maintaining safety documentation and manuals. Travel within New York State (50-75%) to client locations, including Long Island, the Five Boroughs, and Westchester areas. In-depth knowledge of OSHA 1926 and 1910 regulations (all subparts). Certification in forklift safety training, aerial lift safety training, and boom safety training is highly desirable. OSHA-certified trainer and NYS CR-59 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain certification during employment). Self-motivated and proactive in identifying problems and developing effective solutions. Strong business acumen with excellent communication skills to interact with all levels of management. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Willingness and ability to travel extensively within New York State.
