Job descriptionProvides patient care; Obtains vital signs, performs diagnostic testing, performs phlebotomy, performs EKGs, and collects patient data Reinforces basic patient / family teaching Transports patients / equipment Operates and cleans equipment Collects specimens Completes documentation in real time Acts as preceptor under guidance of RN, for new nursing assistants Assists with the organization of patient rooms Stocks linens and other supplies Performs refrigerator checks Additional duties and assigned and delegated by team leader and RNs Responsible for patient care under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse Applicant is required to be listed on the state of Wisconsin Nursing Assistant Registry (WI TMU) Basic computer / keyboarding skills, excellent verbal / written communication skills, team player, ability to multi-task, organized, independent and sensitive to patient needs required.
