A Skilled Nursing Facility located in Hartford County seeks a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator to join its leadership team.
While creating an environment where staff members are highly engaged and focused on providing the highest level of clinical care and compassion to patients, residents, and families. The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator assures that the facility operates in full compliance with Federal and State regulations.
The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator is responsible for planning and is accountable for all activities and departments, subject to the rules and regulations set forth by government agencies to ensure proper health care services to residents, while ensuring that the highest degree of quality of care is consistently provides to residents.
Responsibilities :
- Follow company Administrative Policies
- Conducts all relevant committe meetings as required
- Works in close collaboration with the Director of Nursing and department heads to assure departmental goals are met
- Works in close collaboration with the Medical Director and Director of Rehab
- Assures that staffing levels in all departments are appropriate to meet the needs of all patients and residents.
- Assures that the QAPI process is understood and utilized by all members of the adminstrative team
- Interacts with customers, families, visitors, external facilities / staff, and area personnel
- Confers with consultants to various departments concerning problem areas and utilizes the Q.A.P.I. process to improve performance
- Creates an environment that is focused on patient and staff safety
- Conducts required fire and disaster drills and maintains compliance with legal, safety, health, fire, and sanitation code
- Assures all aspects of the facility physical plant and environment are maintained at a high level
- Displays tact, professionalism, and a positive attitude towards residents, staff, familes, and vendors
