Job Summary:
Avir at French Home is seeking an exceptional Director of Nursing to join our team in San Antonio, TX. As a key leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our nursing department, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership to the nursing department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
Develop and implement effective nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to promote high-quality care
Coordinate and supervise the activities of the nursing staff, including scheduling, staffing, and mentoring
Develop and manage the nursing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources
Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care
Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to enhance the overall quality of care
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement projects
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years of experience in a leadership role in a long-term care or acute care setting
Current RN licensure in the State of Texas
Proven ability to lead and manage a nursing team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
