Job Overview :
- We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Supervisor to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, a passion for providing high-quality patient care, and the ability to lead and mentor others. This role is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our nursing department, ensuring that all patients receive the best possible care and support.
Responsibilities : - Provide exceptional patient care by supervising and coordinating the activities of the nursing staff. - Develop and implement effective nursing care plans that align with the patient's individual needs and preferences. - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and treatment. - Monitor and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records. - Implement and enforce infection control measures to minimize the risk of infection. - Conduct regular rounds and assess patient status to ensure timely interventions and effective care. - Manage and coordinate the utilization of resources, including medical imaging and sonography services. - Provide dementia care and support to patients and their families. - Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction. - Supervise and mentor nursing staff, including orientation and training programs. - Oversee and manage the PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit) and ensure that all patients receive specialized care. - Collaborate with other departments to ensure that patients receive seamless and efficient care. - Ensure that all nursing staff are knowledgeable about pediatric aliment and able to provide appropriate care. - Promote a culture of safety and patient-centered care.
Skills : - Strong nursing background with a focus on pediatric care. - Experience in medical imaging, including sonography and other diagnostic procedures. - Familiarity with medical records management and utilization management. - Knowledge of infection control and dementia care. - Ability to manage and coordinate the activities of a team. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
