Job description
A company is looking for a DRG Validation Educator and Trainer.
Key Responsibilities
Train new staff on DRG Validation and system processes, including conducting audits and feedback sessions
Create and deliver ongoing coding education and collaborate with physician leaders for content development
Act as a Subject Matter Expert for coders, assist with coding reference tools, and conduct QA audits of inpatient claims
Required Qualifications and Education
Coding Certification required (CCS / CIC)
RHIA or RHIT preferred
5+ years of experience in MS-DRG and APR-DRG coding, auditing, or payment integrity DRG Validation
Experience in education and / or training of coding staff preferred
Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and other applications
