Overview

M Health Fairview is seeking a Nutrition Services Aide for Woodwinds hospital in Woodbury, MN! This position offers 21 hours over a 2-week pay period! Pay starts at $20.01 an hr and is not benefit eligible.

To prepare food according to guidelines, stock supplies, provide service to all customers and / or perform tasks that relate to food preparation, sanitation and service.

Week 1

Mon : 4 : 00pm - 7 : 30pm

Sat : 4 : 00pm - 7 : 30pm

Sun : 4 : 00pm - 7 : 30pm

Week 2

Tues : 4 : 00pm - 7 : 30pm

Thur : : 4 : 15pm - 7 : 30pm

Fri : 4 : 00pm - 7 : 30pm

Responsibilities Job Description

• Maintains knowledge of, and follows, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards
• Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and / or efficiency outcomes
• Prepares food in an efficient, safe and timely manner according to department service times and schedules, using standardized recipes and following proper techniques
• Covers, labels, dates and rotates all food prior to storing to ensure department and regulatory agency standards are met
• Washes dishes and / or pots and pans according to established procedures and time frames
• Practices proper infection control methods including hand-washing, personal hygiene and infection control policies
• Performs a specific task on trayline during the assembly of patient trays
• Delivers trays to patients, collects trays after meal service. Delivers floor stock and / or nourishments to patients and nursing unit
• Performs a variety of cafeteria and / or coffee shop duties which may include plating, using portion control and cashiering operation
