Job descriptionPerform screenings and evaluations of residents with physical functioning impairments and other conditions, developing and implementing appropriate Occupational Therapy plans of care while adhering to federal and state regulations and clinical standards. Delivers skilled occupational therapy services with the appropriate medically necessary interventions to improve, maintain or prevent decline with their physical functions. Complete comprehensive documentation for resident care including evaluations, progress notes, re-certifications, care plans, standardized test, discharge summaries and billing. Provide consultation and education to residents, families, caregivers, and others to promote quality care and resident outcomes. Must have or be eligible for Florida Occupational Therapy license. Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work effectively with diverse populations. Minimum of bachelor’s degree in occupational therapy All experience levels considered.
