Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited school of physical therapist assistant with an associate level degree in Physical Therapist Assistant.
Licensure: Active, state license as a physical therapist assistant, or a multi-state license issued by a Physical Therapy Licensure Compact (PTLC) member state, or if licensure do not apply, meets one of the requirements listed in 42 CFR §484.115(i).
Experience: One year of experience as a physical therapist assistant, preferred.
Skills: Therapy skills as set forth in the Therapy Practice Act and other regulatory agencies. Good interpersonal skills. Proof of current CPR certification.
Transportation: Reliable transportation and valid auto liability insurance. Current driver's license.

- Execute the Physician-ordered plan of care under the supervision of a Licensed Physical Therapist.
- Administer a full range of non-complex therapeutic treatments, including manual exercises, massage, heat/cold modalities, and electrical stimulation.
- Effectively educate and communicate with patients and caregivers regarding treatment plans and progress.
- Monitor patient status closely and promptly report any changes or adverse reactions to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation that adheres to all regulatory standards.
- Uphold strict infection control and standard precautions in all patient care activities.
- Promote compliance with all third-party payor and fiscal intermediary regulations.
- Commit to professional growth by meeting all mandatory continuing education requirements and participating in the Agency's quality programs.
