Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and student-centered Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our supportive multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality therapy services to students with diverse needs, ensuring they can access the curriculum and fully participate in school life.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and provide direct and indirect occupational therapy services to students with identified needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and goals as part of the IEP process.
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, administrators, and families to support student success.
- Assist in creating accessible, developmentally appropriate learning environments.
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with state and district requirements.
- Participate in school-based teams, including RTI, evaluation, and transition planning.
- Master's degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy.
- Current Georgia OT license or eligibility for licensure.
- Experience in a school setting preferred, but not required.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
