Position Overview
Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking an experienced Office Administrator to join a dynamic engineering consulting firm in Portland, Oregon. This temp-to-hire position offers the opportunity to work in a supportive and professional environment, handling a variety of administrative tasks to ensure smooth office operations.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for answering incoming calls and transferring them to appropriate team members, ensuring smooth communication within the office.
- Perform general administrative tasks, including data entry, ordering supplies, organizing files and office supplies / equipment, distributing mail, and managing the dishwasher daily.
- Arrange and book travel for employees and incoming staff, ensuring all logistics are handled efficiently.
- Provide support services for meetings, including setting up meeting rooms, coordinating presentation materials, and ordering food as necessary.
- Plan and execute events for team-building activities and other office events to foster a positive workplace environment.
- Conduct employee onboarding and offboarding duties as needed, ensuring a smooth transition for new and departing employees.
- Assist with moving items like small desks, light furniture, or filled banker boxes, and occasionally use a step ladder to reach boxes or files.
- Exhibit excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, alongside first-rate problem-solving capabilities and intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel).
Requirements
Required Work Hours
Monday - Thursday : In-Office 8 : 00am - 3 : 00pm
Friday : WFH 8 : 00am - 3 : 00pm
Benefits
Competitive hourly pay between $24 and $27, based on experience and qualifications, with and exceptional benefits package upon conversion.
