Position Summary
The Gore Office Assistant supports all functions of the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business administration office and school. This person will staff the front desk, answer phones, direct inquiries, maintain files, assist with staff / faculty projects, address software and hardware needs, oversee office inventory needs, and assist with printer, scanner, and copier needs. Office Assistants must be available within the operating hours of the office : M-Th, 8 : 00 a.m.-6 : 00 p.m.; F, 9 : 00 a.m.-3 : 00 p.m. The position is part-time.

Primary Responsibilities
- Greet all visitors who come into the BVGSB office
- Staff the front desk to answer the phones and interact with faculty, staff, students, and the public
- Respond to inquiries and make independent decisions
- Operate and maintain office equipment
- Complete copy requests for faculty
- Sort and distribute mail
- Maintain student confidentiality
- Work well within a team
- Other duties as assigned
