As the Practice Manager, you will assume a crucial role in effectively managing our team of associates for our clinical and optical team, providing exceptional service to our patients, and making valuable contributions to the overall success of the optical practice.
Benefits including :Schedule : Monday-8 : 30am-5 : 30pm, Tuesday-(rotates) 8 : 30am-5 : 30pm / 9 : 30am-7pm, Wednesday-8 : 30am-5 : 30pm, Thursday-8 : 30am-5 : 30pm and Friday-8am-3 : 30pm
Responsibilities
- Foster collaboration and cultivate a conducive work environment for enhanced teamwork
- Monitoring and managing the performance of our clinical and optical team members
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and maintain compliance
- Execute payroll processing accurately and efficiently
- Effectively manage staff schedules to optimize resource allocation
- Plan and facilitate productive staff meetings
- Training the team on new processes and procedures
- Reconciling monthly statements, accounts payable
- Making hiring decisions, finding people with the right skills, values and abilities that fit well within our company culture
- Resolving conflict in the office
- Team reviews and improvement plans
- Coordinating with the General Manager and Doctors on termination
- Establish clear goals and effectively monitor progress towards their completion
- Strong organizational skills and multitasking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills for motivating and fostering an effective team environment, while upholding high standards of professionalism
- Proficiency in conflict management, particularly in relation to patient care and maintaining positive employee / employer relationships
- Reliable
- Optometry experience or medical office preferred
- High School Diploma required
