Reporting directly to the senior attorney, the Office Manager is responsible for managing the administrative operations and supporting a productive, well-organized office environment. This leadership role ensures smooth daily functioning, provides oversight of non-legal staff, and promotes a culture of professionalism and collaboration. The Office Manager serves as the primary liaison between the Orange County office and central administrative departments, playing a vital role in maintaining consistency in office practices, compliance with organizational policies, and delivery of high-quality internal support.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Oversight & Leadership
- Supervise day-to-day office functions in partnership with senior legal leadership to uphold workplace efficiency and morale
- Direct non-attorney personnel, including support staff; collaborate with HR on recruitment, onboarding, and resolution of personnel matters
- Apply relevant employment laws and company policies in all supervisory activities
- Manage confidential information related to staff, clients, and internal operations with discretion
- Evaluate staff performance, prepare performance documentation, and provide coaching and feedback as needed
- Approve staff time entries to ensure payroll accuracy and timeliness
- Participate in budget development and monitor expenditures for the location
