Our growing eye care practice located in San Luis Obispo and Atascadero is seeking a full-time Office Manager. Previous experience in management is required (at least 3 years) and preferably in Optometry or another health care setting.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, positive, efficient and highly organized leader. The practice manager will work in both of our locations (San Luis Obispo and Atascadero) to lead and motivate staff to achieve financial and qualitative goals. Responsibilities include ensuring high quality service and patient satisfaction, handling HR / staffing issues (recruiting, scheduling, payroll, conflict resolution, training, and employee development) handling operational issues, running financial / insurance reports and analysis, maintaining office flow, and communicating with doctors, staff and patients.

Responsibilities
- Lead and Inspire
- Effectively communicate with Doctors and Staff
- Personnel (Recruit, Onboard, Train, Supervise, Facilitate Communication, Maintain Records, Lead Meetings)
- Employee Payroll & Benefits
- Maintain Office Schedule, Office Policy and Procedures / Training Manuals
- Office Environment & Operations (Order supplies, handle patient concerns) troubleshoot problems, communicate with IT support and EMR software representatives)
- Financial (Oversee Invoicing, Insurance EOBs, Reconcile Payment Reports, Oversee Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable)
- Communicate regularly with the doctors
- Communicate with vendors and landscapers / office cleaning services
