Summary
The Pro Group is a leader in the construction supply and equipment rental industry and is looking for inside sales and rental clerks. Great opportunity to work for a growing company. Potential employee must demonstrate behavior consistent with the company's vision, mission core values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, managers suppliers. Adhere to all company policies, procedures safety standards. Maintain a safe, clean organized work area. Receive orders, generally in person, for repairs, rentals, and services. May describe available options, compute costs, and accept payment.
Duties
- Compute charges for merchandise or services and receive payments.
- Prepare merchandise for display or for purchase or rental.
- Recommend and provide advice on a wide variety of products and services.
- Answer telephones to provide information and receive orders.
- Greet customers and discuss the type, quality, and quantity of merchandise sought for sale or rental.
- Keep records of transactions and of the number of customers entering an establishment.
- Prepare sales and rental forms, obtaining customer signature and other information, such as required licenses.
- Receive, examine, and tag articles to be altered, cleaned, stored, or repaired.
- Inspect and adjust items to meet needs of customer.
- Explain charges, fees, policies, and procedures.
- Reserve items for requested times and keep records of items.
- Sell and Rent items, arrange for provision of services to customers, and accept returns.
- Provide information about items, such as availability, operation, or description.
- Advise customers on use and care of merchandise.
- prepare documents for mailings / stuffing putting postage on envelopes
- sort open incoming mail
- take copies daily of multiple documents
- filing, alphabetizing, organizing files to be stored
- imputing data for multiple spreadsheets
- shredding
- posting customer payments / making internal adjustments on accounts other misc A / R work
- providing documents per customer requests
- empty file cabinets for yearend prep
- assisting in preparing bank deposits
