Are you ready to play a critical role in the launch of our inaugural offshore wind farm in the USA? Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, you’ll join our Empire Wind Service team as part of a rotational schedule, working 2 weeks on and 2 weeks off from the Service Operations Vessel (SOV).
This leadership role offers the chance to oversee offshore operations while enhancing team development, maintaining production quality, and promoting a culture of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE).
Responsibilities :
As SOV Shift Manager, you will :
- Lead Offshore Operations : Oversee production planning, service execution, and maintenance activities while ensuring operational excellence.
- Manage Teams : Develop your team’s professional growth, conduct regular performance reviews, and establish a positive, collaborative culture onboard the vessel.
- Build Safety Culture : Promote and model a safety-first mindset through regular inspections, audits, and adherence to HSE protocols.
- Foster Communication : Act as a key liaison between the SOV crew, site teams, and subcontractors to ensure smooth operations and alignment.
- Promote Continuous Improvement : Focus on operational efficiency, first-time fixes, and meeting or exceeding performance targets.
- Develop Expertise : Travel extensively during your first 1.5 years to gain offshore wind experience and train on new Vestas platforms.
- Contingency Planning : Develop and implement contingency plans for vessel operations and windfarm downtime management.
