We are seeking a dynamic leader to optimize and enhance our natural gas underground storage assets. As a manager, you will guide your team in resolving complex issues, driving improvements, and developing strategies. Your role will involve providing insights and recommendations for natural gas storage opportunities, managing stakeholder expectations, and mentoring and developing your team. This position offers a flexible and hybrid schedule, with the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. Don't miss this exciting opportunity to make a significant impact!
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
- Oversee engineering evaluations of existing or potential acquisition storage assets
- Assess reserves connecting supply to existing pipe systems and provide development recommendations based on return metrics
- Review of third-party operations encroachment through or adjacent to existing storage facilities
- Supervise, develop and assist the technical support staff
- Work closely with technical teams to ensure alignment between project objectives, technical requirements, and financial targets
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to formulate business cases, including feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses
- Utilize data analytics to predict trends and potential issues, allowing for proactive management
- Responsible for making significant improvements to processes, systems or products to enhance performance of team(s)
- Communicates and presents findings / recommendations with senior or executive leadership regarding proposed and existing projects
- Mentor, coach, and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning, professional growth, and high performance
