Job description

Position : Fuel / Oil Delivery Driver

Location : Bronx, NY 10454

Hourly Pay : $35 / hr. - $40 / hr. (DOE)

Schedule : Monday through Friday, 7 : 00 am to 4 : 00 pm, with some overtime required

Job Summary :

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Fuel / Oil Delivery Driver to join our team in the Bronx, NY. The ideal candidate will have 4-5 years of work experience, familiarity with Esys software, and a strong commitment to safety and customer service. DOT endorsements are preferred but not required.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Delivery Operations :
  • Safely deliver fuel and oil to customers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Navigate and follow assigned routes to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Equipment and Safety :
  • Operate delivery trucks and equipment in compliance with all safety regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure proper maintenance and compliance with DOT regulations.
  • Customer Service :
  • Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with customers and addressing their needs.
  • Ensure accurate completion of delivery documentation and records.
  • Compliance :
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT requirements.

Qualifications :

  • Experience :
  • 4-5 years of work experience as a fuel / oil delivery driver or in a similar role.
  • Experience with Esys software is a plus.
  • Skills and Abilities :
  • Strong knowledge of fuel and oil delivery procedures and equipment.
  • Excellent navigation and route planning skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting and handling fuel hoses and equipment.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Certifications :
  • DOT endorsements are preferred but not required.
  • Other Requirements :
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed.
