Summary : Responsible for actualizing and balancing crude volumes on assigned pipeline and terminals. Along with balancing, transportation for these pipelines will need to be reconciled, accrued and paid as it relates to intercompany and third-party pipelines and terminals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities :
- Participate in monthly close process including booking volume of pipeline sectors and reconcile to pipeline statements as well as truck stations for lease barrels
- Manage pipeline fees accrual for assigned sectors and perform analysis for variances with actuals
- Work with 3rd party companies to settle by deadline
- Initiate and implement system upgrade as needed
- Able to adapt to rapidly changing priorities
- Work cross-functionally with Scheduling, Lease Accounting, Settlement and Pipeline groups to ensure goals and objectives are being met
- Perform tasks to ensure SOX requirements are met
- Provide audit support as needed
- Perform ad-hoc analyses as requested by management
