About The Position

Job Title : Pharmacist

Job Location : Alaska

Type of Facility : Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment : 12 Weeks

Start Date : Immediately

Work Schedule : Monday-Friday, 9 : 00 AM - 6 : 00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities :

Fill approximately 125 prescriptions per day
Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and order processing
Collaborate with one other pharmacist and the Pharmacy Director
Work alongside pharmacy technicians
Ensure accurate medication dispensing and patient counseling
Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations
Participate in quality improvement initiatives
Communicate effectively with healthcare team members and patients

Requirements :

Current Alaska Pharmacist license

Minimum 1 year of experience as a pharmacist

Hospital experience preferred, but retail experience considered

Familiarity with Epic EMR system
