The Pharmacy Team is first and foremost responsible for guest relations and satisfaction. They will provide pharmaceutical care for all guests and team members in accordance with our mission statement: “Ultimate Service, Superior Performance, and Positive Impact”

NOTE: These opportunities are open in the following 5 Texas locations: Midland, Muleshoe, Clyde, Abilene & San Angelo.

The Staff Pharmacist & Pharmacy Manager must either be located OR be willing to relocate to one of these areas to be considered for this opportunity. *Relocation Package Available!

Key Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge/ greet/ engaging of guests who enter they Pharmacy Area
• Maintain integrity of pharmacy operations within the legal framework provided by the State Board of Pharmacy, Drug Enforcement Agency, Department of Public Safety & other governmental agencies in conjunction with the policy & procedure guidelines set forth by Albertsons Companies
• Assure completion/ compliance of goals, tasks, standards, & other pharmacy related assignments
• Maintain open communication with pharmacy staff to ensure continued growth, development, education, & compliance with evolving pharmacy operations
• Oversee every aspect of the pharmacy operation including dispensing, counseling, scheduling & supervision of technicians, participation in clinical programs including immunization administration, inventory management and control
• Other duties as assigned by upper management

Pharmacist & Pharmacy Manager Qualifications:

• Must reside in OR be willing to relocate to a daily commutable distance of either Midland, Muleshoe, Clyde, Abilene or San Angelo, TX.
  
• BS and/or PharmD Degree from an accredited School of Pharmacy
• Registered Pharmacist by the Texas State Board of Pharmacy with license in good standing
• Must have Retail Pharmacy experience
• Preceptor by the State Board of Pharmacy *only required for Pharmacy Managers
• Excellent problem solving & management skills
• Basic accounting & computer skills
• Excellent oral & written communication skills
• Ability to bend, squat, lift, climb, stand & walk for 8-12 hr. shift
• Ability to function as a team member and work well with others
• Ability to accept supervisory coaching related to performance, work habits, & attitude
