International Academy of Flint is currently hiring an Online Course Supervisor.

Are you interested in pursuing a new or different position at IAF? IAF is looking for someone to supervise online / credit recovery classes. This person should have the ability to get a sub permit (60+ college credit hours) or at a minimum have experience supervising students.

Responsibilities :

• Supervise on-line classes for science with grades 10-12
• Ensure that students are logged in and working every period, actively supervising what they are working on so that they stay on pace with their class
• Help troubleshoot any issues or challenges students may have, including helping them to effectively submit assignments, take online assessments and communicate with their on-line teacher via emails or zoom calls
• Oversee students grades and progress in the online class, giving students grade updates, communicating with parents if students are failing or not keeping up, and entering final semester grades into Power School
• Conduct simple science labs as directed in the online pacing, ensuring that students participate and submit a lab report if needed
• Work with credit recovery students when needed to supervise their online learning, ensure they are working on pace, and entering semester grades in Power School
