About the role :
Analyze and review architectural plans, sign specifications and other project documents to identify sizes, materials and quantities relevant to signage scope to ensure accurate budgeting and resource allocation during the estimation process.
Responsibilities :
Evaluate bids submitted by general contractors.
Examine blueprints, architectural plans, and bid documentation.
Conduct takeoffs to determine signage scope.
Calculate quantities of various sign types for both interior and exterior applications.
Verify dimensions and measurements outlined in plans.
Review and respond to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFIs (Request for Information).
Interpret all requirements and criteria specified in bid documents.
Submit bid requests to internal estimating team.
Ensure bids are accurate, error-free, and compliant with requirements.
Guarantee timely submission of proposals and bids.
Create precise proposals aligned with project specifications.
Maintain communication with general contractor (GC) estimators and suppliers.
Oversee the entire bid process, from quote submission to award or loss.
Address inquiries related to bids effectively.
Document and track bid submissions.
Follow up with general contractors regarding project outcomes.
Collaborate with internal teams, including estimating and project management.
Build trust and foster relationships with general contractors.
Develop competitive strategies to secure bids successfully.
Candidate Requirements :
Exceptional organizational skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
Capacity to manage multiple bid opportunities simultaneously.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
Comfort working under tight deadlines.
Outstanding problem-solving capabilities.
Technical / construction knowledge (preferred but not mandatory). Pay range is $18-$20 DOE
