POSITION OVERVIEW
The Warehouse Operations Assistant Manager is responsible for coordinating the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety and quality standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following and other duties may be assigned as necessary :
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of Members to include but not limited to receiving, stocking, order pulling, deliveries and maintaining par levels in warehouses
- Keep records of the use and / or damage of stock or stock handling equipment
- Review all receiving and issuing orders and prepares work schedules and gives work assignments to Members
- Assist with design and implementation of work methods and operational procedures for activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing materials, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventories current
- Inspect physical condition of warehouses and equipment, prepare work order for repairs, and prepare requisitions for equipment replacement
- Review work processes, recommend measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product or service and suggests changes in working conditions to increase efficiency
- Ensure that all Fontainebleau rules and regulations are adhered to by Members issuing discipline as needed
- Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting in hiring and termination of employment
- Temporary or permanent duties and responsibilities may be added to or modified as deemed necessary.
- Will work closely with delivery drivers to ensure a smooth “in and out” of traffic flow.
- Interact daily with security personnel for deliveries onto the property.
