About the Role
As an Intake Coordinator, you will be responsible for:
Coordinating Scheduling: Booking appointments and scheduling surgeries, tests, and procedures in a timely and efficient manner.
Patient Communication: Contacting patients to review and confirm appointments, answer questions, and address concerns.
Data Entry: Accurately entering patient information and scheduling data into our electronic medical records system.
Team Collaboration: Working closely with healthcare providers, nurses, and other support staff to ensure timely and effective patient care.
Problem-Solving: Resolving scheduling conflicts, addressing patient concerns, and finding creative solutions to unexpected issues.
Requirements
0-2 years of experience in a medical or healthcare setting.
High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and team members.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in electronic medical records systems and other software applications.
