Operational Oversight :

  • Supervise and coordinate daily janitorial operations across multiple client sites within the region, ensuring service consistency and adherence to company standards.
  • Implement and monitor cleaning schedules, quality control programs, and safety protocols to maintain high levels of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
  • Perform regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with client expectations, industry regulations, and safety standards.

Client Relationship Management :

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, complaints, and requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
  • Establish and maintain strong client relationships, conducting regular meetings and quality reviews to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop customized solutions and service plans to meet specific client needs, fostering long-term partnerships.
  • Team Leadership and Development :

  • Recruit, train, and manage field staff, including site managers, supervisors, and janitorial personnel.
  • Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, performance, and professional development, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Conduct performance evaluations, address staff concerns, and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain high productivity and service standards.
  • Financial and Resource Management :

  • Oversee the regional budget, including labor, materials, and equipment costs, to achieve financial targets.
  • Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment to minimize downtime and ensure availability of necessary resources.
  • Analyze financial and operational data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation across sites.
  • Health, Safety, and Compliance :

  • Ensure that all operational activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs and protocols for all staff, minimizing the risk of incidents and maintaining a safe work environment.
  • Conduct audits and investigate incidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
  • Reporting and Analytics :

  • Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service quality, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior management, detailing regional performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives.
  • Qualifications :

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Facilities Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of operations management experience in the janitorial, facilities, or related service industry.
  • Skills :
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in client relationship management and team development.
  • Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations, quality control, and compliance in janitorial or facility services.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional Information :

  • Location : Columbia, MO (Extensive travel within the assigned region required.)
  • Reports To : Regional Director of Operations (or equivalent).
  • Schedule : Full-time, with availability for emergency or off-hour situations as necessary.
  • Pay : $45,000.00 - $55,000.00 per year
