Operational Oversight :
Supervise and coordinate daily janitorial operations across multiple client sites within the region, ensuring service consistency and adherence to company standards.
Implement and monitor cleaning schedules, quality control programs, and safety protocols to maintain high levels of cleanliness and operational efficiency.
Perform regular site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with client expectations, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Client Relationship Management :
Serve as the primary point of contact for client inquiries, complaints, and requests, ensuring timely and effective resolution.
Establish and maintain strong client relationships, conducting regular meetings and quality reviews to assess satisfaction and identify areas for improvement.
Develop customized solutions and service plans to meet specific client needs, fostering long-term partnerships.
Team Leadership and Development :
Recruit, train, and manage field staff, including site managers, supervisors, and janitorial personnel.
Foster a positive work environment focused on teamwork, performance, and professional development, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Conduct performance evaluations, address staff concerns, and implement corrective actions as necessary to maintain high productivity and service standards.
Financial and Resource Management :
Oversee the regional budget, including labor, materials, and equipment costs, to achieve financial targets.
Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain equipment to minimize downtime and ensure availability of necessary resources.
Analyze financial and operational data to identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize resource allocation across sites.
Health, Safety, and Compliance :
Ensure that all operational activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
Develop and implement safety training programs and protocols for all staff, minimizing the risk of incidents and maintaining a safe work environment.
Conduct audits and investigate incidents, implementing corrective actions as necessary.
Reporting and Analytics :
Track, analyze, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to service quality, client satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for senior management, detailing regional performance, challenges, and improvement initiatives.
Qualifications :
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Facilities Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Experience : Minimum of 5-7 years of operations management experience in the janitorial, facilities, or related service industry.
Skills :
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proven experience in client relationship management and team development.
Proficiency in budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations, quality control, and compliance in janitorial or facility services.
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Information :
Location : Columbia, MO (Extensive travel within the assigned region required.)
Reports To : Regional Director of Operations (or equivalent).
Schedule : Full-time, with availability for emergency or off-hour situations as necessary.
