Trimble is recruiting for an InField Operations Manager within the Civil Construction Field Systems (CCFS) business area, located in Westminster, CO. or remote work is an option based on the candidate's experience. We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Infield Operations Manager to oversee the scheduling and coordination of various tasks within the Civil Construction Product Support, Testing, and Training workflows. The ideal candidate will have experience managing schedules, liaising with multiple teams to complete projects, and ensuring accuracy and consistency when compiling documentation around project results. This role will report directly to the Worldwide Support Director with strong lines to the System Acceptance Test Manager and Regional Support Managers to encourage efficiency and prompt execution of deliverables.

What You Will Do

Success in this position will see you managing schedules and staffing for installations and training for military branches, scheduling beta customers for Trimble-developed machine systems, managing student enrollment for channel training programs, and providing onsite logistics support for training and troubleshooting activities.

On a daily basis this will include :

US Military branch Installations and Training :

Liaise with various branches of the military to schedule installations and training sessions for Trimble-developed systems.

Ensure efficient allocation of resources and timely completion of tasks according to customer requirements.

Beta Customer Scheduling :

Manage the scheduling of beta customers for testing Trimble-developed machine systems.

Coordinate with the product development team to ensure beta testing schedules align with product development milestones.

Consolidate results and report Field Follow data to leadership and development teams.

Flexibility to assist with out-of-region Beta testing

Channel Training Program Enrollment :

Oversee the enrollment process for the channel training program, including student registration and logistics coordination.

Work closely with channel partners to identify training needs and facilitate enrollment of their personnel in training programs.

Onsite Logistics Support :

Provide logistical support for onsite training sessions, including coordination of equipment, materials, and facilities.

Assist support staff deployed to customer sites for troubleshooting purposes, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to resolve issues efficiently.

Miscellaneous Infield Support Activities :

Handle miscellaneous infield support activities as needed, such as coordinating travel arrangements, managing inventory, and facilitating communication between internal teams and customers.

What Skills & Experience You Should Bring

Bachelor’s degree or Certification in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.

Proven experience in project management, including planning, organizing, and controlling projects. Ability to execute consistently is key. Familiarity with project management tools, such as Agile, JIRA, and Google Suites.

Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with global customers and internal teams ranging from Product Management, Support, Testing, Training, and Sales.

Experience in project or program management to include being proficient in project management tools and software.

Experience working with government agencies and military branches is a plus.

Domain knowledge in civil construction or Trimble is a plus.

Willingness to travel as needed.
