As our Data Science Operations Manager, you will help with the operations of the team. Every day you will, act as a Project Manager for the team, coordinate meetings / events, manage presentations, and provide ad hoc support. To thrive in this role you must, have good public speaking, stakeholder management, and PowerPoint organization skills.
Here’s what you will experience working as a Data Science Operations Manager :
- Program Management : Support implementation and scaling of data science solutions within our product offerings in healthcare revenue cycle. Assist leadership in prioritizing and managing multiple data science projects in line with the business and data science vision and goals. Prepare high quality plans and roadmaps that synthesize data science vision and progress.
- Project Management : Manage recurring and ad hoc data science meetings, including content development and speaker preparation; tailor presentations based on audience. Manage recurring and ad hoc asks from business stakeholders (e.g., metrics for quarterly earnings reports, materials for sales and marketing). Support data science solution rollouts by preparing user guides, release emails, and feedback forms. Support development of training materials and demo videos, as needed.
- Performance Tracking and Metrics : Create and manage tracking systems to demonstrate the estimated and actual operational and financial impacts of data science solutions. Identify gaps in existing metrics; establish processes to create and validate metrics for every data science solution with business stakeholders and product teams.
- Stakeholder Engagement : Build and manage relationships with business stakeholders such as sales, marketing, and product PMO. Act as a bridge between data science, other product teams, and business stakeholders to manage expectations; appropriately funnel requests to data science leadership. Distill complex data concepts into simple language and business concepts.
- Leadership : Collaborate fluidly with product and engineering counterparts, and business stakeholders; lead brainstorms and strategy sessions to understand business challenges and root causes. Identify and address barriers to data science implementation and adoption across R1. Proactively problem-solve obstacles and appropriately escalate risks to data science leadership. Present to stakeholders and management and drive project alignment.

For this US-based position, the base pay range is $83,000.00 - $139,221.00 per year . Individual pay is determined by role, level, location, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
