Are you interested and passionate about public policy and community outreach? The Herbert Institute for Public Policy is seeking a Research Assistant to support our work on topics such as federalism, free speech, digital identity, and how policy shapes our communities. You'll work directly with students, faculty, and others to ensure the successful and timely completion of projects; collect and analyze data; develop written reports; and assist with the design and execution of events and activities in association with community partners and local, state, and federal government leaders. Summary of Responsibilities

• Serves as a member of a team researching various civic engagement projects.
• Works directly with campus and community partners to assure the successful and timely completion of projects.
• Collects and analyzes data and develops written reports.
• Assists with the design and execution of events and activities in association with local government leaders and community partners.
• Other job-related duties as assigned.

Qualifications / Licenses / Certifications

High school diploma or equivalent education plus one year of related experience.

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in graphic design, digital media, social media, or general marketing.
