Operations Research Analyst
ProSidian seeks an Operations Research Analyst (Contract Contingent) in Charlotte, NC / Washington, DC / Remote to support an engagement for agency of the United States government responsible for consumer protection in the financial sector.

The ProSidian Engagement Team Members work to understand and improve consumer financial decision-making skills by researching consumer financial behavior, knowledge, attitudes, perceptions, and experiences, developing innovative approaches to help consumers make better-informed financial decisions, and analyze and study the effectiveness of financial education approaches.
Operations Research Analyst candidates shall work to support requirements for PR0001 Program Support and conduct research on consumer behavior, knowledge, attitudes, and experiences in order to better understand consumer financial decision-making. The Operations Research Analyst will provide in-depth research of consumer financial behavior and financial education using focus groups, surveys, and interviews and compile that research into comprehensive reports to be delivered to other members of the Research Team.
The Operations Research Analyst is responsible for:
- Conducting in-depth research using statistical analysis, models, tables, and other methods to better understand consumer financial decision-making and ways consumers make those decisions
- Supporting field tests of newly-developed tools and strategies to better educate consumers
- Conducting on-going monitoring and research activities throughout the development and implementation of new tools, strategies, and messages to educate consumers
- Providing analysis of the overall project to support the Research Team's report(s)
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred in a relevant field or related subject.
- At least 3 years of experience providing survey research, sampling, descriptive and inferential statistical analysis.
- Experience in data collection, analysis, and written reports summarizing data collected.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively both individually and as a member of a team.
- Candidate must have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated ability to propose possible resolutions to complex managerial or operational problems.
- Demonstrated expertise in knowledge management.
- Demonstrated proactivity, attention to detail, working within deadlines, and ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, English verbal, written, editing, research, and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office Applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel)
