Provide field supervision and leadership to the preventive maintenance staff in performing maintenance of a variety of industrial mechanical equipment at an institutional setting. Using experience of the trades (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing) and manufacturer recommended to ensure equipment is maintained properly and as designed. To perform inspections of equipment and make minor repairs or adjustments as needed to equipment and provide technical guidance to staff as needed to ensure equipment is maintained properly. This position is designated "essential personnel" for emergency closings.
Excellent working knowledge of overall general maintenance in the HVAC, Electrical and plumbing fields. Considerable experience in supervision of various trades. Knowledgeable of trade hand tools used in testing electrical devices and aligning shafts and pumps, etc. Have the ability to manage multiple tasks such as setting work schedule, ordering material and providing assistance to staff.
