Join Our Team as a Freight Operations Supervisor!

Are you ready to take your career to the next level? At XPO, we are seeking a motivated and experienced Freight Operations Supervisor who is passionate about leading a team and ensuring the efficiency of freight operations. Bring your expertise and help us drive success!

Key Qualifications :

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in warehouse, distribution, supply chain, or transportation environments.
Strong knowledge of the Less-than-Truckload (LTL) industry, hazardous materials regulations, and DOT guidelines.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, nights, and weekends.

Preferred Skills :

Bachelor's degree in Transportation, Distribution, or Logistics, or 4 years of comparable experience.

At least 2 years of supervisory experience.

Proficient with LTL industry practices.

Positive attitude with multitasking abilities and team motivation skills.

Excellent leadership, communication, and administrative capabilities.

What to Expect :

Lead and oversee all facets of freight operations.

Develop and enforce strategic procedures to adapt to departmental needs.

Evaluate and manage employee workloads to ensure production goals are met.

Serve as the primary contact for operational staff and address workplace concerns.

Ensure timely and safe processing of customer freight.

Coach team members on operational techniques and quality standards.

Conduct daily team meetings to communicate key updates and motivate staff.

Prioritize safety and compliance with all relevant regulations.

Physical Requirements :

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and occasionally more than 75 lbs.

Capabilities to reach, bend, twist, and stand for extended periods.

Willingness to work in various weather conditions.
