What you will do :

The Streetcar Operations Control Center (SCC) Supervisor plays a pivotal role in supervising DC Streetcar operations and train movements along the H Street and Benning Road corridor. Using communications equipment, our SCC team ensures the smooth flow of streetcar services 24 / 7. We are looking for a dedicated SCC Supervisor who shares our commitment to safety and efficiency.

• Safety First :  Safety is at the core of what we do. As SCC Supervisor, you will champion safety principles and ensure they are upheld throughout our operations.
• Leadership :  Take the reins of day-to-day operations, coordinating the activities of our operations and maintenance personnel. Your leadership will guide the team toward success.
• Union Experience :  Your experience in a union environment will be valuable as you navigate collective bargaining agreements and ensure a harmonious work environment.
• Performance Evaluation :  Evaluate the work of operators, providing guidance and discipline when necessary to maintain high standards.
• Administrative Duties :  Handle administrative tasks such as employee attendance, reports, procedures, and electronic records to keep operations running smoothly.
