Job Title : Cryo Operator Job Description

We are seeking a Cryo Operator responsible for the safe and proper operation of Cryogenic Equipment, including Cryogenic Tumblers and De-flashing machines. This role involves de-flashing molded parts, monitoring equipment, and maintaining quality standards in a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Set-up, clean, and operate Cryo de-flashing equipment.
• De-flash molded parts following work instruction guidelines and work order schedule.
• Maintain Cryo equipment as required by the Maintenance program and recognize equipment problems to correct minor difficulties.
• Fill out proper work order information for each procedure and complete all applicable logs as directed in work instructions.
• Follow prescribed procedures for finishing different product types and monitor the quality of Cryo de-flashed molded parts.

Work Environment

The facility, focused on aerospace rubber parts manufacturing, is equipped with injection molding machines and hot presses, adhering to lean six sigma principles for extreme organization. Though machines can get hot, the facility maintains a comfortable temperature with constant AC use. This is an ITAR facility.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Santa Ana, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00 / hr.
