Forklift Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Warehouse Worker to join our team. The individual in this role will perform manual and clerical duties related to the shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products. This position requires experience with stand-up CROWN forklifts and the ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive and put-away freight / stock
• Pick and build pallets for orders
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Assist other areas as needed
• Perform shipping and receiving duties
• Operate stand-up CROWN forklifts
• Unload, sort, and inspect goods
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment
• Record received and shipped items according to established procedures
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas
• Complete written and computerized documentation

Work Environment

The work environment is very clean, resembling a Costco but more pristine. The current shift is from either 5am to 1 : 30pm or 11am to 7 : 30pm. Employees must be comfortable working 46 hours a week. The warehouse is not automated, so candidates need to be patient and willing to learn new processes. Safety is a top priority, followed by accuracy and productivity.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of FIFE, Washington.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $24.00
