Position Overview
The Western Sugar Cooperative has a challenging opportunity for an Assistant Storekeeper. This position is responsible for all aspects of material inventory management and control for the factory, warehouse and Ag departments. The Assistant Storekeeper reports to the Maintenance Manager.
Essential Functions
- Be a safety leader with solid safety behaviors and demonstrated leadership
- Chemical inventory and orders
- Unload orders from vendor trucks
- General Storeroom functions – purchasing, purchase orders, work orders, inventory, min / max levels and consumables
- Receive parts and materials into SAP
- Stock parts and materials
- Other duties as assigned
