Job Summary

The Optometrist focuses on delivering primary vision care as part of Crossover's patient-centered medical home.

Job Responsibilities

• Provides primary vision care
• Conducts eye examinations to diagnose vision problems and ocular diseases
• Measures patients visual perception, acuity, focus and coordination ability
• Analyzes test results and develops a treatment plan
• Utilizes diagnostic procedures and eye drops to aid in the diagnosis of vision problems and prescribes pharmaceutics to treat eye diseases
• Diagnoses conditions caused by systemic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension, referring patients to other health practitioners in Crossover's practice as needed
• Ensures clinic areas and instrumentation meet quality compliance standards
• Manages communication with patients, other Crossover practitioners, and optical partners to support quality clinical care
• Committed to patient satisfaction, providing excellent service and delivering an outstanding eye care experience
• Performs other duties as assigned

Physical Job Requirements

The base pay range for this position is $73.29 to $95 per hour. Pay range may vary depending on work location, applicable knowledge, skills, and experience. This position may be eligible for an annual bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, Short- and Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off and 401K.
