This position is located at Naval Medical Center Camp Lejeune (NMCCL) Camp Lejeune, NC.

Responsibilities
As a Optometrist (Clinical) you will :
- Provide diagnosis, management, and treatment of all patients that are within the scope of optometric practice and credentials
- Treat pathology and injuries of the eye and adnexa using therapeutic drugs
- Perform advanced optometric procedures in the detection and treatment of unusual visual deficiencies (., cycloplegic and manifest refraction, biomicroscopy, direct and binocular indirect opthalmoscopy)
- Monitor the maintenance of ophthalmic equipment and instruments
- Perform oversight of the optometry staff
- Provide eye and vision consultative services to patients and medical staff
Qualifications
US Citizenship required
Applicants must have received a passing score on the National Board of Examiners in Optometry (NEBO) examinations and possess a current, full, and unrestricted license to practice optometry in a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
One year of specialized experience as an optometrist
